The Days of ’47 Komatsu Equipment Rodeo is consistently regarded as one of the top rodeos in the nation, featuring the best in the country. The top competitors from around the nation will test their grit as they compete for the big prize. These champion cowboys and cowgirls are competing to win a purse of $411,000. The Days of ’47 Rodeo is a destination rodeo for these champions, making it the perfect family event, offering fast-paced thrills for every age. It brings out the cowboy in all of us.
Featured events include Bull Riding, Bareback and Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling and Tie-Down Roping. Bull riders are protected by professional bullfighters and the always-entertaining clown Frankie “Punkintown” Smith. His amusing antics and energetic comedy has thrilled crowds for over 15 years. You’ll also be amazed this year by the Bobby Kerr Mustang specialty act and won’t believe the feats this champion horse trainer performs with his faithful steed, Poncho.
